Paris, (part 2)

We have been seeing a lot of
churches, and museums, and buildings.
And been riding around on the Metro, and the Batobus (water taxi)
The most popular stuff we've seen are:
The Louvre, Notre Dame, Gardens of Luxemborg,
Eiffel Tower, Versailles, a ton of popular museums, etc.

Its been fun to see all these.
but also exhuasting! haha.
thats what europe trips are about
go, go, go

The Gardens of Luxemburg are so beautiful.
it seems to be the place that everything gathers too after work
or to jog around.
here are some pictures:

{she has her man in the palm of her hand}
this is how it has always been boys,
and how it should be

The Louvre is home to many FAMOUS artists.
there are sculptures, paintings, everything in there.
The most famous is the mona lisa.
{sorry its kind of blurry, i had to zoom in because
there was like a jillion people}
i kept singing the Mona Lisa song by Brother IZ in here.
Anyways....
It had this big glass box thing around it.
high security.

I wasnt feeling well when we did the louvre
so i took a nap on a padded bench, in a little nook.
A frenchman came up to me and tapped my foot.
he didnt speak any english so spencer talked to him
the man asked "if i was breathing. if i needed the paramedics."
nope. just needed a quick nap.
haha thanks though sir.

here are some pictures from, and of, the Louvre:

Notre Dame is a famous church/cathedral
it was HUGE!
here are some pictures:

{sorry there arent more from inside, no cameras allowed}

{from the Batobus--water boat}
{at night- people came and just hung out by river and bands played}

Versailles is just outside of Paris, and not near as big.
There is a very famous castle called
Back then, the town people decided that they were
sick of having a king so they stormed the castle.
Versailles is very well known for its story, its palace, and its gardens.
it was SO beautiful. and gold.
Here are some pictures we took:

  1. Hey Anna...been following your blog. It's fun to read about all the stuff you're doing! Sounds like a blast! I would love it! I took a year long humanities class at BYUI and my teacher was pretty much a genius and told us about all the symbolism and crazy stuff about like all the pictures I've seen on here so it makes me want to go SO BAD! It looks like you're having fun so far though! LUCKY DUCK!
