i am a little behind 

but im trying to catch up

{love catching up}

because then i dont have to wait 

a week every episode.

so im currently on season 4

and i was renting or borrowing the discs

....until TODAY!

a little birdie told me they were now...

ready for it?

on NETFLIX!

this is the greatest day.

my husband wasnt too thrilled

because i get into my shows

i have certain shows that i follow 

and cant miss an episode

i just am not quite smart enough to know

Tuesday was an unexpected date day!

I worked lunch, and when i got home

spencer felt like going out out to eat

so we did

because we had some coupons for a couple places

{yes we are cheap, ♥ coupons}

We made our way to wingers

we wanted to switch it up a bit

from the usually luxury of Hamiltons and Elements

{happens to be our place of employment}

yes...

we both work in the nicest restaurants in logan

ballllllin.

While at dinner Spencer said out of the blue

"Lets go to Contagion"

{that movie about the virus/epidemic that kills 20 million people}

i was like ok that'd be fun,

 when does it start

he replied 6 minutes ago.

so we hurried and paid and our server said

just come back after your movie and

i will hook you guys up!

So we headed to the movie

{um... so its a little older of a movie}

we were the ONLY ones in the theater

kinda fun

but freeezing

i had to bring a blanket and curl up
but i cant complain
i have a cute hubby to cuddle up to!

it was a crazy movie

scared me a tid bit.

it is just freaky because that is probably

what will really happen when the world ends

{second coming for the religious folk}

Then we headed back to get our asphalt pie

and she gave it to us for FREE!
4.99+tax = saved.

she was awesommeeee

probably because we tipped her good
before our movie

so after the movie

we went home and changed into a million layers

{its been so cold}

and picked up Kiersten and Matt

and we headed to 7-eleven for hot chocolate

{best in town, btw}

then made our way to the pumpkin walk

i dont know if you have heard

but its quite the thing to do here in logan

during halloween

there are scenes made up from a ton of pumpkins

{made from different people like schools, or whatever}

my favorite was this beauty

Then after that we headed to our house

to make Sugar cookies

with our new pumpkin cookie cutters

and our orange festive icing! 

{we didnt have a rolling pin, so we used an orange juice can}
that is called resourceful.

his were the bestttt

 {we made a giant one}

so we were pretty bummed that
our pumpkins didnt really look like
pumpkins when they were done cooking....
so we decided to get a little creative

kiers was the vag

spencers and matts were the
 flippin the bird and the tittties.

a little inappropriate i know...

but we all laughed like little kids!

i've fallin for break

Fall Break

Utah State only has one day off

boo.

i dont think it should technically be

called a "break".

but dont you worry,

we took full advantage of our short break!

Started out with Jordan and Haley's wedding

it was down in Alpine

It was beautiful

Haley looked STUNNING! 

Plus we had a flash mob from the brothers

and sisters of the bride and groom

it was hilarious.  

i didnt get too many pictures but i did get some

daddy-daughter, and mom-son dancing

From the wedding we spent the night in

Alpine and left in the morning for the Dahl cabin in Wanship

on our drive up we look the scenic way

So i am still not great at taking pictures

but i am getting better.

we went to PC for dinner

then at the cabin we played cards

had ice cream

and just chillaxed.

It was mama dahl's birthday 

she loved being up there!

We drove back saturday to Logan

because we havent been to a SINGLE game yet.

and its our senior year

so we made sure we made it to the game!

it was fun, and hot.

loving this last little bit of warm weather!

We had a fellow next to us 

that seemed to be the ONLY person

not loving the sunny weather

he started out with taking the flyers

that were taped to the bleachers

and taped them to his face

 then in progressed to this:

haha. weirdo.

After the game we drove to pocatello

to visit my family!

my mom is in kentucky with my sister

because she is about to pop! :)

cannnnnot wait to meet my nephew!

Spencer and my dad went golfing

and i took my little brother tommy

and his friend trevor to outer limits 

is it the ultimate dream for kids.

We spent 2 hours there just playing and playing 

{we won 4 of these balls with the impossible claw}

 {Tommy hit the bonus!}

Tommy and i ended up with 855 tickets total!

 {All the prizes we won!}

then it ended with Farr's playdough ice cream

{my brother and i have a tradition 

to make faces out of our ice cream} 

After that we met up with my dad

and my hubby and we went to taco bell

to get some quick grub 

and then headed to the new movie

Moneyball

 SO GOOD! 

Now we are just chillin

at my parents house!
tommy and i played with waterballoons,
me and the boys
went on a drive and looked at the
colors of fall
and now dinner with the fam

it has been a successsssful weekend

for sure!

Ride for Seed

For Spencer's business class

him and a group were to put on an event

and all money raised would go to a good cause.

They decided to do RIDE FOR SEED

seed is a program for helping businesses in Africa

They did a motorcycle ride

it was $10 per rider

and they ended up raising $500

so great!

As i was walking to meet Spencer 

i ran into this little guy

he was soooo fuzzy

and just scooted along.

i couldnt get enough of him!

We met at Harley Davidson and left from there

{part of group}

We then went to Preston

up to Montpelier 

Over to Bear Lake

and back to Logan through Logan Canyon

It was so pretty!

We then had a raffle at the end

and spencer and i won a ton of stuff

free food, shirt, dvd, etc.

I didnt get a lot of pictures but i got a few

it was a little scary taking pictures

on a motorcycle going 65 MPH.

i learned that thats what the french say.

Another good one is: "its raining men"

but...

those arent realistic.

thats why i am sticking with the classic:

Rain, Rain, go aw...

i dont know why people always want the rain to go away

i love it.

whether its sitting inside 

or on a covered deck watching/listening to the storm,

or whether its even getting out and playing in it.

i remember my first big rainstorm here at USU

my roommate Annie and I went and played for like 

a half an hour outside and got soaked

cant believe this was almost 3 years ago.

 {the grass was literally flooded}

{freeeezing on our way back up}

ok so driving may be the only not fun part 

when it comes to POURING rain

But thats really the only time i dont love it.

Wonder why i love it so much?
