flying time

Time has just seemed to be

FLYING BY!

i cannot believe it is December already

all in favor say "i"

It definitely feels like December though

its bitterrrrr cold lately.

Yesterday i left work at 9pm

and it was 1 degree.

yes, i did say 1. 

as in... one.... single... degree.

guaranteed this will be tomorrows outfit

laugh all you want...

but im not even kidding! 

When the first real snowfall came

i worked a double.

so i went into work with no snow on the ground

and left work to walk out to 8 inches of snow

this is from one of the windows at my work

that was around 4 or 5 pm. 

so not even the full damage in this pic.

Along with the winter season is...

our Anniversary.

its in 4 days. 

talk about time flying.

we have been married 2 years already

cannot believe we are this old haha.

we are total marriage pros now.

need any tips? we are the ones to ask!

{kind of serious too... haha we have been through

just about everything!}

cancer, surgeries, etc.

We had a date night tonight

and we were talking about how crazy 

the past two years have been!

how fast its gone

and how much we have gone through together! 

im grateful for everything because

when you think you may lose the one you love

you realize how much you really do love them.

I love Spencer with all my heart.

I am the luckiest girl in the world! 

don't ever take anyone for granted!

It's my party...

So for my birthday 

{on 11-11-11}

Spencer had a bunch of surprises for me

{i love surprises}

I woke up to a 2 page love letter

then we made my favorite breakfast

We had some morning lovin

and then showered and got ready

because we had a photo shoot planned

we haven't had our pictures done since our wedding

so we thought it would be fun to

get some updated pictures 

while the leaves were still falling

{and no snow yet!}

After that,

Spencer surprised me with a

1 hour full body massage

as i was getting that done

he was home with a repairman

that was fixing our dryer!

i came home to a working dryer!

then he had a game planned for the rest of our night

{Deal or No Deal}

He made 3 little paper briefcases

and the first game was for where we were

going for dinner

he had gone to the bank 

and gotten a $1, $5, $20, $50, and $100 bill

and i had to choose one 

{without looking}

and thats how much we would spend

i picked the $1. 

but we still went out to a nice restaurant!

Next round was for where we were going to go shopping

i picked Kohls first off.

and said Deal.

{especially because we had $10 off}

And finally the last round 

was for what i was going to get

i picked shoes

{but just got some for my bday}

no deal.

then perfume.

that was a hard decision.

i am running low.

but this was my last round

and i wanted to go all out.

no deal.

last was a PILLOW!

deal

i was so glad.

i have wanted to get a nice

expensive, high quality pillow for a while

{we spend half our life sleeping,

might as well make it worth it}

After shopping we came home and went to bed!

the next day

we went and moved my 80 year old grandma

into her new home!

then went out to dinner with Spencer's family

and then drove to Pocatello 

to hang out with my family!

My mom has been gone for 2 months

so it was soooo nice to finally get to 

hang out with her!

i just LOVE her!

My gifts were:

a love letter,

new beige high heels,

a fixed dryer,

1 hour full body massage,
a really nice pillow,

and a brand new 27" iMac and printer

what a good birthday!

ALL thanks to my amazing hubby.

he is so thoughtful, and spoils me to death!

i love him with ALLLL my heart!

TO ME!!!!

this is quite the

.once.in.a.lifetime.

kind of day for me

NOT ONLY

is my birthday on

but i am turning 22

which is 2 11's 

And 2 times during my birthday can 

i say i was 22 on 11-11-11 at 11:11

i guarantee anything i wish

will come true.

its fate.

this is quite a big day! 

lots of decisions!

So i had to research long and hard

to try and find the earliest picture of me

because it seems appropriate since 

this day is commemorating my day of birth

22 years ago.

After weeks of research,

i found it!

And i wouldn't be here if it weren't for my parents!

So thank you for always putting us first:

You guys are the best! 

Spencer has some fun stuff planned for us today

i would tell you but...

then i'd have to kill you.

ok i lied.

i just don't know what we're doing

because he is surprising me!

he said he has to make up for celebrating 

2 birthdays because last year 

i was in the hospital 

because i had to get my appendix out!

I do wish someone would make this 

11 layer cake for me that looks so divine.

Broke & Ballin

So Spencer and I were having sunday dinner

on sunday

{obviously}

and i went to serve me up some goods

and when i went to put it on my plate,

my elbow hit my juice

and it spilled on my laptop

{dun,dun,dun}

supposed to be suspense noise

so i grab it and start blowing into the holes and 

the places you plug stuff into

and then tried to turn it on.

nothing.

gave it a few hours

and then plugged it in

hoping it was just dead

and it charged

so i tried to turn it on

nothing.

so the next day i bring it into expercom

{apple specialist in Logan}

and they said its done for.

i about cried

my laptop is still pretty new

got it 3 years ago

wah.

{a little background}

so last year spencer had this big weekend 

planned for my 21st birthday

but i ended up get really sick

and getting my appendix out

on my birthday..

sucky much?

So this year he said he has to go 

ALL out since i didn't really have 

a birthday celebration last year

well he had saved up some money

but then the juice incident happened

so we had to spend all the bday money

on getting a new computer

{plus his bday, plus our christmas and anniversary

presents for each other, plus my parents christmas 

gift to us}

and we got the real deal on tuesday

We got a 27" iMac.

{our TV is 32"}

this thing is MASSSIVE

plus a new printer/scanner

plus the trackpad instead of the mouse

plus adobe photoshop

and video editing system

plus microsoft office

yeah.

its a beautiful thing.

i can't get enough

{4 posts in one day}

can ya tell?

so we are pretty much broke

but we got a sick setup up in hurr.

i will probably 

{actually i know}

 I won't slack off anymore

because i get giddy playing on this beauty.

He is the first grand baby in my Noorda fan

and oh boy, 

he is a cute little man!

It's kinda crazy how i have never even met him

but i love him already SOOO much!

it was so cool to have my first nephew

Halloweezy baby

{Halloween + Weekend}

was just barely.

We didn't really feel like going to the Howl

or the Hamiltons party

so we stayed in and had friends over

We made treats and carved pumpkins

i had being scared

then on actual halloween i just stayed

home and answered the door for trick or treaters

first time i've ever done this

we had sooo many kids

and teenagers

{surprisingly}

kinda odd when your trick or treaters

look like they go to school with you.

there should be some sort of age limit

deacon

My awesome little brother Tommy

a.k.a T-Bone

turned 12 years old

about 2 weeks ago.

he is now official a deacon! 

proud of him

can't believe he is getting so old

bahh.

i don't feel like I'm getting any older

but everyone else around me is!

My mom has been out in Kentucky

with Sarah and Andy

and so she missed Tommy's birthday

So spencer and I and my dad and other brother

celebrated with the bday boy.

I woke him up with the smell of this delight

 thats the most delicious german pancake if you ask me

look at the height on that thing.

Then he opened his presents

He was supposed to give us a wish list 

and he never did

so he got $$$$

the jacket is from me and Spencer

and the hundy+20 is from parents

and the 20 is from my brother

{Fresh out of bed}

Then we got dressed

 and went to outer limits

{again haha}

and tommy got a TON of awesome prizes

we got 1800+ tickets altogether

{I won 1st place on the motorcycle

racing game so i got a free game}

and then went out for ice cream!

Then before we went home

we stopped by Gem State

{daddy's work}

and got HOOOKED up.

Tuesday was an unexpected date day!

I worked lunch, and when i got home

spencer felt like going out out to eat

so we did

because we had some coupons for a couple places

{yes we are cheap, ♥ coupons}

We made our way to wingers

we wanted to switch it up a bit

from the usually luxury of Hamiltons and Elements

{happens to be our place of employment}

yes...

we both work in the nicest restaurants in logan

ballllllin.

While at dinner Spencer said out of the blue

"Lets go to Contagion"

{that movie about the virus/epidemic that kills 20 million people}

i was like ok that'd be fun,

 when does it start

he replied 6 minutes ago.

so we hurried and paid and our server said

just come back after your movie and

i will hook you guys up!

So we headed to the movie

{um... so its a little older of a movie}

we were the ONLY ones in the theater

kinda fun

but freeezing

i had to bring a blanket and curl up
but i cant complain
i have a cute hubby to cuddle up to!

it was a crazy movie

scared me a tid bit.

it is just freaky because that is probably

what will really happen when the world ends

{second coming for the religious folk}

Then we headed back to get our asphalt pie

and she gave it to us for FREE!
4.99+tax = saved.

probably because we tipped her good
before our movie

we went home and changed into a million layers

and we headed to 7-eleven for hot chocolate

then made our way to the pumpkin walk

i dont know if you have heard

but its quite the thing to do here in logan

during halloween

there are scenes made up from a ton of pumpkins

{made from different people like schools, or whatever}

my favorite was this beauty

but we all laughed like little kids!

i've fallin for break

Fall Break

Utah State only has one day off

boo.

i dont think it should technically be

called a "break".

but dont you worry,

we took full advantage of our short break!

Started out with Jordan and Haley's wedding

it was down in Alpine

It was beautiful

Haley looked STUNNING! 

Plus we had a flash mob from the brothers

and sisters of the bride and groom

it was hilarious.  

i didnt get too many pictures but i did get some

daddy-daughter, and mom-son dancing

From the wedding we spent the night in

Alpine and left in the morning for the Dahl cabin in Wanship

on our drive up we look the scenic way

So i am still not great at taking pictures

but i am getting better.

we went to PC for dinner

then at the cabin we played cards

had ice cream

and just chillaxed.

It was mama dahl's birthday 

she loved being up there!

We drove back saturday to Logan

because we havent been to a SINGLE game yet.

and its our senior year

so we made sure we made it to the game!

it was fun, and hot.

loving this last little bit of warm weather!

We had a fellow next to us 

that seemed to be the ONLY person

not loving the sunny weather

he started out with taking the flyers

that were taped to the bleachers

and taped them to his face

 then in progressed to this:

After the game we drove to pocatello

to visit my family!

my mom is in kentucky with my sister

because she is about to pop! :)

cannnnnot wait to meet my nephew!

Spencer and my dad went golfing

and i took my little brother tommy

and his friend trevor to outer limits 

is it the ultimate dream for kids.

We spent 2 hours there just playing and playing 

{we won 4 of these balls with the impossible claw}

 {Tommy hit the bonus!}

Tommy and i ended up with 855 tickets total!

 {All the prizes we won!}

then it ended with Farr's playdough ice cream

{my brother and i have a tradition 

to make faces out of our ice cream} 

After that we met up with my dad

and my hubby and we went to taco bell

to get some quick grub 

and then headed to the new movie

Moneyball

 SO GOOD! 

Now we are just chillin

at my parents house!
tommy and i played with waterballoons,
me and the boys
went on a drive and looked at the
colors of fall
and now dinner with the fam

it has been a successsssful weekend

for sure!
