Salzburg

Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens,

Snowflakes that fall on my nose, and eyelashes

These are a few of my favorite things.

It should.

It’s the famous “The Sound of Music”

that was filmed here in Salzburg, Austria.

We toured the grounds.

{which was interesting that it wasn’t all in one place}

we saw the 16 going on 17 pavilion

we saw the gardens,

and the Pegasus fountain,

etc. etc. etc.

it was so fun

 {there was an orchestra playing, love the outfits}

Also another thing Salzburg is known for is

Mozart.

He was born and raised here.

We saw churches he played in,

His birth place,

His bridge that was built for him

We even had a chocolate homemade treat

That was named/made after him.

We took it pretty easy here in Salzburg.

{we only had 1 day}

It was a little chilly, and overcast,

But still beautiful!

I would have to admit that

By far the best countryside

{most beautiful}

would have to be Austria’s

At nighttime we had heard of a famous hanger

That we should not miss out on

{airport hanger}

the guy that invented -Red Bull- was from Austria

He had a hanger that was a

Restaurant, and a place for his

 planes, racecars, toys, etc.

it was way cool.

It was a 360 degree windowed area.

We just got smoothies, which were delicious.

We drove to the hanger from Germany {Dachau}
