Ride for Seed

For Spencer's business class

him and a group were to put on an event

and all money raised would go to a good cause.

They decided to do RIDE FOR SEED

seed is a program for helping businesses in Africa

They did a motorcycle ride

it was $10 per rider

and they ended up raising $500

so great!

As i was walking to meet Spencer 

i ran into this little guy

he was soooo fuzzy

and just scooted along.

i couldnt get enough of him!

We met at Harley Davidson and left from there

{part of group}

We then went to Preston

up to Montpelier 

Over to Bear Lake

and back to Logan through Logan Canyon

It was so pretty!

We then had a raffle at the end

and spencer and i won a ton of stuff

free food, shirt, dvd, etc.

I didnt get a lot of pictures but i got a few

it was a little scary taking pictures

on a motorcycle going 65 MPH.

If you havent been up the canyon

within the last week or so

you realllllly need to go.

it was sooo pretty

there were so many colors!

around 5 or so is the best time

I love fall.

i learned that thats what the french say.

Another good one is: "its raining men"

but...

those arent realistic.

thats why i am sticking with the classic:

Rain, Rain, go aw...

i dont know why people always want the rain to go away

i love it.

whether its sitting inside 

or on a covered deck watching/listening to the storm,

or whether its even getting out and playing in it.

i remember my first big rainstorm here at USU

my roommate Annie and I went and played for like 

a half an hour outside and got soaked

cant believe this was almost 3 years ago.

 {the grass was literally flooded}

{freeeezing on our way back up}

ok so driving may be the only not fun part 

when it comes to POURING rain

But thats really the only time i dont love it.

Wonder why i love it so much?

overwhelmed by my multiple blog posts

in one night

but i had to catch up 

september was too fun not to document.

It was full of family time

{my favorite way to spend time}

and also work and school which are 

um.... fun too? 

nothing beats family time.

A bird flew into our house and we had 

decided we would have him as a pet for a while

until we found its owner

we got a cage and everything.

We loved him from the moment we put him in front of the mirror

he would talk like no ones business.

he would puff his feathers and strut back and forth

everyone....

On sundays, Spencer and I like to see nature

2 weeks ago we took a motorcycle ride up American Fork Canyon

it was stunnnnning.

we stopped by this river and talked for an hour

Then we went up Logan canyon last week

to see the fall colors start to change 

and then stopped and got out of the car,

and sat cuddled up in a blanket on a big boulder

there's something about water that is so peaceful to me

September.

It has been quite the eventful month.

{sorry for just barely posting}

Promise i will keep you updated in a timely fashion though.
it was because of Prison break.
but i am done. 4 seasons in 4 weeks
proud.

started with Sun Valley for Labor day

Then it was my baby sister 

Kierstens 20th Birthday

no longer a TEENager.

cant believe it.

Then my Daddy's 30th birthday

{well 30-ish. he looks 30}

but then he would have had me when he was 9

so you obviously know i am not telling the complete truth

he is such a cuuutie. 

i adore my daddy.

he has always been so good to his family!

Also, we went to Park City 

to celebrate some time together as a fam

my dad got the Mountainside Resort.

its beautiful

We spent the day going on the Alpine slide

and coaster, shopping at the outlets,

and eating at the yummy mexican restaurant.

Spencer and my brother Sam decided that they

would race down the Alpine Slide.

Mind you... at the top before you go, 

they warn you to be cautious.

Neither listened. 

and they both FLEW OFF.

both getting scraped up.

The next day,

we left Park City and went to Provo

for the BYU-Utah game.

I went wearing blue. 

and left feeling blue.

i cant believe how awful they played

all i can say is

NEXT YEAR.

Does anyone even work on Labor day?

I dont really understand what that holiday is for

but hey, its a day we dont have school

i am down.

This year for Labor day

My family went to our Condo 

in Sun Valley, ID 

to celebrate the weekend.

It is Sun Valley's biggest annual event of the year

its called "Wagon Days"

the whole weekend is a celebration!

We actually didnt know until we got up there

there were parades and plays in the streets,

ice skating shows, and so much more. 

Sun Valley is one of my favorite places to visit

for a weekend getaway. 

its perfect.

Here's a quick review of the weekend

forgive me?

i know, i know!

i have been slacking on my blogging

life has just hit me like crazy

not in a bad way.

just a busy one!
promise i'll be better

i know it seems a little hard to believe
because i finished 2 seasons of
PRISON BREAK
in 2 weeks....
but i have had a 180 in the past week
{time wise}
school started last week
AND
i started my new job
at....
Elements Restaurant.
I love it.

Something that is big for me.
is that i would actually eat there
{sounds a little strange right?...
why would i work there if i wouldnt eat there}
well i have worked at previous food places
and lets just say
Sanitation and cleanliness
doesnt seem to be their top priority.
But at Elements its very clean
even in the kitchen.
{most important}
Plus everyone seems to be way nice
and drama free which i LOVE!
If you havent eaten there...
i hiiiighly recommend it.

As i was saying school started last week
I cant believe it....
the end is in sight!
I only have 18 credits left until i graduate.
i technically could finish in December
butttt....
i took 18 credits in spring
and worked 30 hours a week
and was assistant director of my dance team
TOOO BUSY,
i literally didnt have a second to breathe.

so i decided i want to e.n.j.o.y.
my last year
so i am only taking 12 credits.
easy peasy.
then 6 in spring.

I bet your all wondering
how i am graduating in just over 3 years?
well its because i have taken summer school
2 of the 3 years.
thats nooo break since freshman year.
so dont judge for the 12 credits ;)

Speaking of school....
did anyone see the AGGIE FOOTBALL game saturday?
My Ags almost brought it home
against last years champ Auburn.
Even though we didnt walk away with a win...
i am still proud of my Aggies!
thats quite an accomplishment!

Saturday was a good day.
Aggies gave Auburn a run for their money.
BYU won.
and Boise State won.
i was a happy girl.
Now i just gotta get ready for the epic
BYU-Utah game next Saturday.
aw yeah.

Its been a looong time though.

i know.

I have been M.I.A.

But i will tell ya,

its been for a GOOD reason.

Yep.

Its the one and only....

im obsessed.

i have watched a season and a half in a week

Thats 22 episodes each season

and 45 minutes a piece.

I have been a straight up hermit lately.

I had heard all about it before

but didnt ever start it because

i didnt need another show to 

keep up on.

But my little bro Sam
{giving him all the credit}
kept talking about it

so i decided...why not?

I bet your wondering where i have
all this time to watch it?

well its because...

i quit temptation cupcake 2 weeks ago

{Thank gooooodness!}

and my new job hasnt started yet

so i thought,

i'll give it a try.

Best and worst decision.

Its soooo good. 

but its all i do now. haha.
