Our last weekend in Annecy

Marie
 {our host mom while we are in Annecy}
is so funny.
I can't understand 90% of the things she says,
but Spencer translates for me.
She is a hoot!
She tries to speak English and knows a couple phrases
I always ask what "something" is in French,
and she will do the same in English.
She giggles at most of our words.
I never realized how weird English is.
We say things {mainly phrases} that don't make ANY sense!

Some other reasons she is so great is:
She gave is her room
{she sleeps on the couch}
She makes American food.
She tries to speak English
{and teaches me some French}
She is hilarious
She hand washes all of our clothes once a week
{so she wont ruin them}
She bought me a Sephora bag and 3 nail polishes....
Just because.
We got so lucky with her!
She has made this experience that much better.

Here is this lady herself
{We sit in the same spots every meal}
I'm sad Spencer blinked.

{Our colorful meal. Veggies, eggs, potatoes and de-crusted bread}
She noticed i peeled off my bread everytime...
So she bought bread that already had the crust taken off
cute.

{Yogurt for dessert in the bowl/cup and....
sugar with the brand name Daddy.... Sugar daddy. haha}
This glass bowl/cup this was also the culprit of this:

{it dropped and shattered and cut my wrist}
this picture doesnt give it justice. it was way deep.

Now if you would gather your dropped stomach... i will go on.
Earlier in the day we saw Chateau d'Annecy
It had the prettiest views.
{walkway to the Chateau}

{Chateau d'Annecy}

{ ♥ }

{my hair was blowing around like crazy. i had to hold it down}

{love his kisses}

{view from the Chateau}

{on our way down, fun little tunnel}

{MJ made of metal. i wanted to buy it. LOVE him}

{our home for a month}

{then the rain came out of nowhere, huge raindrops}

{then, rainbow over the Lake}

 So we have gone to church while being here.
Such a good experience.
This last Sunday was Father's day
And these cute kids made these rocks for all the men in the ward
Even the American students.
CLB is french for CTR (choose the right)
We will keep this for sure.

Happy Fathers day to all you wonderful dad's out there.
